Welcome/The communities of North Salt Lake, Bountiful, Centerville and Farmington are collaborating to conduct the South Davis Greenway Feasibility Study.

The study will evaluate the feasibility of a new shared-use path/trail that would connect from Farmington to North Salt Lake, serving people walking, biking, and rolling—for commuting or recreation—and filling a critical gap on the east side of I-15 in South Davis County where no such facility currently exists. The study will analyze the feasibility of this
pathway and establish a designated route and basic concept
design. While there is no funding currently allocated for
construction, the project is part of the State of Utah’s
Utah Trail Network” map and is eligible for state funding.

The Greenway will provide new transportation choices to reach South Davis County’s downtowns and community destinations, will link to mountain and river trails, and will provide great recreational opportunities. It will be a practical, cost-effective project that will be family-friendly, for all ages and abilities, and a point of community pride.

The study will run from winter through summer 2026 and will emerge with a preferred route and concept plan that the four partner cities can seek funding for further planning, design, and construction.
